We moved to Vermillion South Dakota from out of town. We were interested in a wide array of places and locations. We were able to come into town for two days to look at places. Where do we begin to tell people how amazing and easy to work with Janel is??? There are simply not enough words!! When we first started out with Janel she wanted to show us a property and I (Joanie) refused to go look at it. Having a history of working in the mortgage business, I knew the property would be tough to find financing for to match our needs. I just didn't want to mess with it. A couple of months went by of trying to work out a deal with a "For Sale By Owner" and without Janel by our side, this deal fell apart at the 11th hour and we were on a time crunch. We had approximately 30 days to work with. The property that I first denied, we looked at and put an offer on that night!!! I should have trusted Janel's instincts to begin with, silly me. We worked together as a team to get this deal closed within 32 days, FHA and a "manufactured" home to boot!!! None of this would have been possible without Janel. She listened to me describe my housing needs, financial issues and, as I informed her, of my physical handicaps and personal hobbies, asked thoughtful questions and quickly eliminated properties on the market that did not fit those criteria rather than wasting my time showing me homes that would not fit my needs . She is very knowledgeable about the area, pointing out the different properties relative location to the local government offices, public library and parks.
